• Onboarding Status: Whether you've seen our community guidelines (so we don't show it every visit)
• Posts: Your posts and confessions (all stored on YOUR device)

If Lifted displays advertisements (e.g., Google AdSense), those ad networks may use their own cookies for:

• Tracking ad performance
• Personalizing ads
• Frequency capping (not showing the same ad too often)

Note: Clearing your data will delete any posts or preferences you've saved on Lifted.

4. LocalStorage vs Cookies

Lifted primarily uses localStorage instead of cookies because:

• It's more secure for storing sensitive information
• Users have clear control over it
• It's not sent to servers automatically
• It respects privacy better

5. Do Not Track (DNT)

If you have "Do Not Track" enabled in your browser, Lifted respects that preference. We do not use tracking technology to follow you across the web.

6. Analytics

Lifted does not currently use analytics tools that track individual users. We may use aggregated, anonymized traffic data to understand how the site is used, but this does not identify you personally.
